There were numerous conversations about the fact that the Philadelphia Eagles were not having conversations in the 21-17 loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday.
DeVonta Smith talked about some of the miscommunications and everyone needing to be on the "same page." Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown missed on a big pass play in the second half that would have been a touchdown, as that was another example of the two not talking about the play.
It has certainly felt like it's been more about communicating through the media than actually talking to each other. Something needs to change for the Eagles to get back on track and get this season rolling again.
A solution has appeared for the Eagles in the best time.
PhillyVoice Eagles reporter Jimmy Kempski shared on Monday that Brown, Hurts, and Barkley all had a long conversation together that went well. Kempski said that it lasted "a couple of hours."
This is not something Eagles fans should glance over. It's a breakthrough for a team that needed it.
These three are the captains and leaders on the team and get the most attention. They seem to have realized that they need to figure this out and clean things up before the New York Giants game on Thursday.
It'll be interesting to see how they handle things moving forward. The hope is that whatever was communicated among each other will be talked about with Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni and offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo.
This all goes back to Smith's comment about everybody being on the same page. That includes the coaches and ensuring that whatever problems they have can be resolved.
Watch for any discussions between the three to influence the game plan for Thursday. This can only be a positive for the Eagles.
