Per Zach Berman, the Eagles are signing G Evan Neal, as he was spotted on the practice field on Thursday.
The move hasn’t been officially announced yet, but Neal was in Philadelphia for a tryout on Wednesday and then at practice today, according to Berman.
Neal, 26, was a three-year starter at Alabama. He was a consensus first-team All-American and a first-team All-SEC in 2021 before being selected as the No. 7 overall pick in the 2022 draft by the Giants.
He played out the final year of a four-year rookie contract worth $24.6 million, which included a $15 million signing bonus and is also fully guaranteed. The Giants re-signed Neal to a contract in March but released him during final roster cuts.
Neal caught on with the Raiders for a stint on the practice squad but was let go earlier this week.
In 2024, Neal appeared in nine games and started seven times at tackle.
