Beckett Greenway, daughter of former Minnesota Vikings linebacker Chad Greenway and sister of top-ranked 2025 Minnesota recruit Maddyn Greenway, received her first Division I scholarship offer from South Dakota State, she said Monday on social media.
And Beckett is still only in the eighth grade.

Beckett played alongside her sister and helped Providence Academy claim a Class 2A state title this spring. Beckett averaged 12.2 points, 3.3 boards and 3.2 assists per game for the Lions last season, according to stats provided by the MN Girls Basketball Hub.
As Beckett will only be in ninth grade next year, the offer from the Jackrabbits is sure to be the first of many. Beckett is a multi-sport athlete, also playing soccer for the Lions. She previously won a soccer championship with Providence Academy, too.
Athleticism is in the genes at the Greenway household. Chad was a stellar linebacker, playing 10 NFL seasons with the Vikings, and Maddyn is the top-ranked girls basketball recruit in Minnesota's 2025 class and is committed to play at Kentucky this fall. Beckett looks to be the next top-level recruit in town, and you'll likely hear more of her soon.
