The Dallas Cowboys are trying to win their second game in a row this week when they host the New York Giants on Thanksgiving.
They're coming off a wild 34-26 win over the Washington Commanders this past Sunday and enter this game with a 4-7 record. They're still a long shot to make the playoffs but will get closer to a spot with a win over another one of their rivals on Thursday.
ESPN's FPI has this game close to a coin flip but has the Cowboys as slight favorites with a 52.6% chance of winning. The Cowboys are still searching for the first win at home since they've lost their first five games at AT&T Stadium this season.
They've also owned the Giants as of late and have won eight of the last nine meetings against them. The last time the Giants beat the Cowboys was in 2020 at MetLife Stadium.
The Giants come into this game reeling after they got smacked around by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last Sunday at home. The Bucs walked into MetLife Stadium and delivered a 30-7 beatdown, dropping the Giants' record to 2-9.
The Giants are in freefall and will be starting Tommy DeVito in this game as long as he's healthy. They released Daniel Jones last week after he went to the front office and asked for a fresh start. He was benched by head coach Brian Daboll earlier in the week.
Time will tell if Daboll survives this season since it's been a mess.
Kickoff for Thursday's game will be at 4:30 p.m. ET on FOX.
