Ex-teammate Jarvis Landry surprises Odell Beckham Jr. on media day

Odell Beckham Jr. was part of a very cool moment Monday when one of his former Cleveland Browns teammates surprised him during his media day availability.

Beckham was fielding questions when Jarvis Landry surprisingly hopped on the line. Landry said he didn’t actually have a question for his fellow receiver, instead praising Beckham for battling through adversity. Landry concluded by telling Beckham: “I love you. Go get that ring.”

Beckham was visibly touched by the support and even went as far to say that other than his own father, nobody had done more for him or helped him more than Landry had.

Landry and Beckham go way back. They played together at LSU before heading to the NFL together and wound up reuniting with the Browns. Their relationship in Cleveland obviously didn’t suffer despite Beckham’s issues with the organization. The two certainly have a stronger relationship than the one Beckham appeared to have with his quarterback.
