Amid the Falcons best offensive performance of the season, Darnell Mooney left the game with a hamstring injury and did not return. However, with the bye week coming up, the Falcons don’t believe he’ll miss much time, if any at all.
#Falcons WR Darnell Mooney suffered a hamstring injury yesterday in Atlanta's win, but with the bye coming up, it's likely that he doesn't have to miss any games, sources say.

Atlanta’s offense was humming on all cylinders against the Commanders, and they were doing it short-handed.
Darnell Mooney exited in the second quarter and really hasn’t had a chance to get involved at all this season. He missed all of training camp and Week 1 with a shoulder injury, and when he returned in Week 2, it was clear he wasn’t quite himself. Through three games, Mooney has just seven catches for 79 yards.
That’s a far cry from last season, when Mooney emerged as one of the league’s most reliable WR2s, racking up nearly 1,000 yards while playing opposite Drake London, who finished fourth in receiving yards.
If the Falcons can get that version of Mooney back coming out of the bye, this offense has the potential to hit yet another gear — an exciting thought considering how explosive they already looked on Sunday.
