Packers fans would be smart not to go trick-or-treating in Matt LaFleur’s neighborhood.

Forget whether the LaFleur household gives out full or mini-sized candy bars, the Packers head coach is not a fan of Halloween, especially ahead of Green Bay’s clash with Bryce Young and the Carolina Panthers on Sunday afternoon.

“I don’t give a (expletive) if it’s Halloween, alright? We’re trying to win a game, period,” LaFleur told reporters on Friday. “It’s a Friday in the National Football League. That’s what day it is.”

LaFleur clearly was having some fun with reporters, but also seems to be on a mission to limit distractions on his team as they prepare for Sunday’s game.

But, if it was the Grinch who stole Christmas, LaFleur is the one who robbed the Packers of any Halloween joy.
