The defending champs have sought the help of another former Alabama defensive back.
It was reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter that cornerback Trevon Diggs has agreed to a one-year contract with the Seattle Seahawks. This comes one day after Diggs took a meeting with the franchise.

Diggs was originally drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2020 NFL Draft where he became an immediate playmaker in the secondary. During his second season with the team, Diggs led the NFL in interceptions with 11 and was named to the All-Pro first team as well as the Pro Bowl.
After following up that season with another solid campaign Diggs earned a five-year $97 million extension. But the most recent years have been up and down for the second-round pick as he has battled multiple concussions.
Last year Diggs was let go midway through the season by the Cowboys and would be picked up by the Green Bay Packers where he would appear in just two games before being let go again.
Despite the rocky past several seasons, Diggs will be a key depth piece along with another former Alabama defensive back Terrion Arnold whom the team still intends to sign.
