Former Chicago Bears offensive lineman, Cody Whitehair, is signing a one-year deal with the Las Vegas Raiders. According to Chris Emma of 670 The Score, Whitehair's deal is worth approximately $3 million.

Cody Whitehair's Tenure With The Bears

The Chicago Bears selected Cody Whitehair 56th overall in the second round of the 2016 NFL draft. The 31-year-old started all 16 games for the Bears in his first four seasons and made the Pro Bowl in 2018.

Whitehair only missed a total of seven games across eight years in Chicago and played multiple positions on the offensive line. Between the center and left guard positions, Whitehair was a crucial piece on the Bears' offensive line.

Whitehair has only been penalized for holding nine times and hasn't been flagged for it since 2019. Also, he was only flagged for a false start seven times in eight years and had two seasons where he wasn't penalized at all.
