The search to replace Aaron Glenn as defensive coordinator has come to an end, so now it's on to candidates to replace Ben Johnson as the Detroit Lions' offensive coordinator. According to Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, Denver Broncos passing game coordinator John Morton has emerged as a candidate to watch for the Lions offensive coordinator job. The report added that Morton recently interviewed with head coach Dan Campbell. Morton's name may sound familiar. That's because he was on the Lions' coaching staff in 2022 as a senior offensive assistant. He also interviewed for the Lions' offensive coordinator job when Campbell first came in as head coach in 2021.
