Dylan Sampson has had a quick start to his NFL career with the Cleveland Browns. The former Tennessee Vol was taken in the fourth round of the 2025 draft by the AFC North squad, and he's found a role in the offense quickly.

His efforts paid off on Sunday afternoon at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. Sampson scored his first touchdown of his NFL career. But he wasn't the only Vol to find the end zone for Cleveland. Former Vols WR and teammate of Sampson in Knoxville Cedric Tillman found paydirt earlier in the contest for the Browns.

Dylan Sampson and Cedric Tillman notched both of the Browns' touchdowns in Cleveland's 41-17 loss to the Baltimore Ravens

Tillman scored first for the Browns, and in circus catch fashion. Down 20-3 in the third, Cleveland QB Joe Flacco lobbed a pass in the direction of both Tillman and TE Harold Fannin, Jr. The ball bounced off a defender and into Tillman's hands for the score.

After the Ravens had taken complete control up 41-10, fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel was in the game, and inside the final two minutes, he connected with Sampson for a touchdown to conclude the scoring for the day.

Hopefully Sampson got to keep that football, because that's obviously a special moment for any player. And it's fitting that it came on a pass, as that's how Sampson has made an early impression on the Cleveland offense.

Sampson's snap count could take a hit with Quinshon Judkins signing with the team and ramping up for game action. But Sampson has already proven he has an important skill set in the offense that Cleveland would be wise to continue to utilize throughout the season.
