Geno Smith's Raiders Jersey Number Revealed

Though the Las Vegas Raiders took their time officially announcing the Geno Smith trade, there wasn't any last-minute drama and he's now a member of the team. The Raiders traded a third-round pick for the Seattle Seahawks for the quarterback and the plan is likely to give him a contract extension.

Considering he has a very good chance of being the team's starting quarterback for the next few seasons, fans are going to want to wear his jersey. Luckily, it didn't take long to find out his jersey number.

Unsurprisingly, Smith will continue to wear No. 7 on the Raiders.

This is the same number that the quarterback wore with the Seahawks and with the New York Jets. He donned No. 3 with the Giants and Los Angeles Chargers when he played there so that could've been an option but he's going to roll with No. 7.

There's never been a great Raiders quarterback to wear No. 7 so Smith could become the first. The fan base has been desperate for stability at quarterback so the team will sell many of those No. 7 jerseys, especially if Smith is able to get a contract extension before the start of the 2025 regular season.
