The New York Giants checked off another priority signing from the 2026 draft class on Wednesday by agreeing to a four-year rookie contract worth approximately $31 million with offensive lineman Francis “Sisi” Mauigoa.

Selected with the No. 10 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, Mauigoa received a fully guaranteed deal that includes a signing bonus reported between $18.9 million and $19.308 million. His rookie cap hit is projected to be approximately $5.712 million in 2026. As a first-round selection, the contract also includes a fifth-year team option.

The agreement makes Mauigoa the sixth member of New York’s 2026 draft class to sign, leaving linebacker Arvell Reese as the only unsigned rookie. Other signed draft picks include cornerback Colton Hood, wide receiver Malachi Fields, defensive lineman Bobby Jamison-Travis, offensive lineman JC Davis, and linebacker Jack Kelly.

Mauigoa entered the NFL after starting all 42 games at right tackle during his three seasons at Miami. The 6-foot-5, 329-pound lineman did not miss a single start in college and established himself as one of the best offensive tackle prospects in the draft class. He allowed only three sacks over his final two college seasons across 980 pass-blocking snaps, according to Pro Football Focus. In 2025 alone, he surrendered two sacks and just one on 205 true pass-set snaps while finishing with a 93.7 percent win rate, the second-best among 2026 draft-eligible tackles.

Mauigoa’s performance earned him multiple honors during his final season at Miami, including consensus All-American recognition, the ACC Jacobs Blocking Trophy awarded to the conference’s top blocker, and first-team All-ACC honors. He was also named second-team All-ACC in 2024.

The Giants are expected to move Mauigoa from right tackle to right guard to begin his NFL career. Veteran Jermaine Eluemunor is projected to remain at tackle while Mauigoa takes over the guard position. Although he played nearly all of his college snaps at tackle, Mauigoa has publicly embraced the position switch.
