Giants rumors: What one insider is hearing from Odell Beckham Jr’s workout

All signs are starting to point toward a nostalgic reunion between Odell Beckham Jr and the New York Giants as training camp approaches. The wide receiver, who was once one of the best in the NFL during his time with the Giants, had a workout with the team this week that went well, and with New York in need of another pass-catcher, the reunion makes sense.

Beckham Jr and the Giants aren’t the only reunion that would happen in this scenario, as he also had success with the Baltimore Orioles in 2023 with John Harbaugh as his head coach. He had 35 catches that season for 565 yards and three touchdowns.

The 2023 season with the Ravens was his last time as a productive NFL wide receiver. The 2024 season was a bit of a struggle for the veteran, as he played in nine games for the Miami Dolphins and compiled just nine catches for 55 yards. After those tough couple of months in Miami, Beckham Jr took the 2025 season off to seemingly refresh and get ready to return in 2026.

At 33, the pass-catcher believes that he still has enough left in the tank to be a veteran presence for young quarterback Jackson Dart and fellow LSU alum Malik Nabers. The problem for Beckham Jr could be the numbers game starting to catch up to him as he attempts to get back in the league, as the Giants have been using the free agency period to add to their wide receiver room. New York signed Isaiah Hodgins, Darnell Mooney, and Calvin Austin III to contracts over the past month.
