The Cincinnati Bengals will win Super Bowl LX against the San Francisco 49ers on the 49ers' own stadium. That is what the AI robot "Axel" — a new edition to the "Good Morning Football" crew — predicts will happen at the conclusion of the 2025 season.

"I'm going to say we'll see the Cincinnati Bengals representing the AFC, and the San Francisco 49ers coming out of the NFC," Axel said. "I'll say the Cincinnati Bengals finally get their Super Bowl ring. Joe Burrow takes home the MVP honors for the game, and the Bengals celebrate a huge victory bringing the Lombardi Trophy back to Cincinnati."

AI robot predicts Bengals' first Super Bowl win comes as revenge

This matchup is not without juicy storylines. The first two Super Bowls the Bengals played in were against the 49ers in 1981 and 1988. San Francisco won both matchups, and it took Cincinnati over 30 years to get back to the final game of the season.

The Bengals' long-awaited Super Bowl return came against the Los Angeles Rams, and the game was played in the Rams' home venue, SoFi Stadium. It was the first time a Super Bowl winner hoisted the Lombardi Trophy on their home field.

For the Bengals to play yet another NFC West team in their home stadium just four years later would be a wild coincidence, but it's what Axel's programming has in mind.

And a message to Axel while I have him: the Bengals unfortunately wouldn't be bringing back the Lombardi to Cincinnati as it has never been there before. I know, kind of a buzzkill, but for the sake of accuracy, these things matter.

If Cincinnati manages to not only get back to the Super Bowl, but defeat the franchise that robbed them of glory twice four decades ago in their own city, cathartic wouldn't even do it a justice.

Bengals fans will certainly hope Axel has the script for the the 2025 season.
