A two-time All-Pro, Green Bay Packers defensive back Keisean Nixon has earned the respect of his team and the fans. Entering the 2025 NFL season, the former South Carolina Gamecocks star is preparing for the role of starting outside cornerback for the Packers, who are counting on their secondary to bottle up opposing passing attacks.
Green Bay did a good job in that area in 2024, based on the fact that its stop unit held opponents to just 209.9 passing yards per game and posted a 2.90 percent defensive interception rate, eighth and fourth in the NFL, respectively.
Nixon knows the challenge that lies ahead for him, and he appears to be motivated to further prove his worth to the Packers — and to the haters.
The 28-year-old Nixon recently shared a social media post via social media that shows a series of photos at Packers training camp and some verses, including one that’s from Drake’s 2013 song “Tuscan Leather.” Nixon appeared to highlight the part of the lyrics that could be interpreted as a shot at his naysayers.
“Only Time Will Tell✌ #K9,” Nixon wrote in the caption.

Several Packers players, including quarterback Jordan Love, reacted to Nixon’s post.
Love left a fingers-crossed emoji, which can be taken as a sign of support for Nixon, who has truly come a long way in his career.
Nixon turned pro in 2019, but he went undrafted in that year’s NFL draft. The then-Oakland Raiders signed him to a contract. In 2022, he inked a one-year deal with the Packers before getting handed a three-year contract extension in 2024.
