Fans of Fox Sports NFL analyst Greg Olsen will be pleased with the latest news regarding the former Pro Bowl tight end.
Many football fans were disappointed when Tom Brady replaced Greg Olsen as the analyst on Fox Sports’ No. 1 commentary team. Fox paired Brady with top play-by-play voice Kevin Burkhardt and moved Olsen to the No. 2 team with Joe Davis.
The good news for fans who loved the Burkhardt-Olsen tandem? The two will be reuniting this Saturday.
On Monday, Fox Sports announced that Kevin Burkhardt and Greg Olsen will call the first-ever Fanatics Flag Football Classic this Saturday. The event is taking place at BMO Field in Los Angeles, California.

Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski are (sort of) coming out of retirement to play in the Flag Football Classic. Brady and Jalen Hurts are co-captains of Founders FFC, with Joe Burrow and Jayden Daniels co-captaining Wildcats FFC.
Brady has had a grand time promoting the event. He has engaged in some hysterical back-and-forth trash talk with Logan Paul ahead of FFC.
Fox Sports obviously won’t demote Brady from the No. 1 gig. They gave him a 10-year, $375 million contract for a reason. Regardless of his performance, Brady’s presence makes people want to tune in.
So, fans of the Olsen-Burkhardt tandem better enjoy their reunion while it lasts. They did a phenomenal job together. They even got to call Super Bowl 57 between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles.
But, Fox was always going to promote Brady to the No. 1 role after losing Joe Buck and Troy Aikman to ESPN. Of course, Olsen could always explore the No. 1 commentary role at another network when his deal with Fox runs up.
