The San Francisco 49ers have had a devastating season with regards to injuries to their running backs. They were down to their third string running back on Sunday, Isaac Guerendo, and he suffered an injury in their win over the Bears. According to Myles Simmons of Pro Football Talk, the former Louisville star had to exit their game with a foot injury.
Following the game, 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan called it a “Possible foot sprain,” via David Bonilla of 49erswebzone.com. “X-Rays didn’t for sure show anything, so we’ll have to look into it more tomorrow,” the 49ers head coach said on Sunday evening.
