While the Jacksonville Jaguars have decided to retain embattled head coach Doug Marrone, there are going to be some dramatic changes within his staff.
After meeting with assistants on Monday, Marrone and offensive coordinator John DeFilippo mutually agreed that their marriage should come to an end after one season.

Head Coach Doug Marrone will begin the offensive coordinator search immediately.
This is somewhat surprising news given how well rookie mid-round pick, quarterback Gardner Minshew, performed under DeFilippo during the 2019 season.
It’s also going to have wide-ranging implications around the league. Two of DeFilippo‘s former teams, the Vikings and Eagles, are looking for new offensive coordinators.
DeFilippo, 41, served as the Eagles’ quarterbacks coach in 2016 and 2017 before one season as the Vikings’ OC in 2018.
