Jaguars Dominate Browns in 34-10 Season-Opening Win

The Jacksonville Jaguars opened the 2026 season in impressive fashion, dominating the Cleveland Browns 34-10 at EverBank Stadium. Jacksonville controlled the game from the opening quarter, building a huge lead before Cleveland finally found the end zone late.

Trevor Lawrence Puts On A Show

Trevor Lawrence was the star of the afternoon.

The Jaguars quarterback completed 18 of 23 passes for 245 yards and four touchdowns, finishing the game without an interception. Lawrence spread the ball around and consistently found open receivers as Jacksonville’s offense moved the ball with ease.

Parker Washington got the Jaguars on the board first with a 30-yard touchdown reception. Lawrence later connected with Josh Cameron, Brenton Strange and Jakobi Meyers for additional scores.

Jaguars Take Control Early

Jacksonville wasted no time taking control.

The Jaguars jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter before adding another 10 points in the second. By halftime, Cleveland was facing a 24-0 deficit.

The Jaguars continued their dominance in the third quarter, extending the lead to 34-3 and essentially putting the game out of reach.

Browns Struggle To Find Answers

Cleveland’s offense had a difficult afternoon.

Deshaun Watson, making his first start since 2024, completed 16 of 22 passes for 205 yards, one touchdown and one interception. His early interception helped Jacksonville establish momentum, and the Browns struggled to consistently sustain drives.

Cleveland finally got on the scoreboard with a field goal in the third quarter and added a late touchdown when Watson connected with rookie Denzel Boston for a 46-yard score.

Unfortunately for the Browns, it was far too late.

A Statement Start For Jacksonville

The Jaguars showed why expectations are high after their breakout 2025 season.

Jacksonville finished with 360 total yards and forced two turnovers while keeping Cleveland out of the end zone until the fourth quarter.

For the Jaguars, it was the perfect way to begin the new season.

Jacksonville is 1-0, while Cleveland leaves Week 1 with plenty of questions after one of the most one-sided games of the opening weekend.
