Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery just cemented themselves into Detroit culture forever with new commercial

What do you know about Detroit brands? Better Made chips, Carhartt, Vernors, Ford, basically every national pizza chain out there right now. But there's one that stands out more than any, and that's Faygo.

Faygo is ours and nobody else's. It's one of the most Detroit things around. That's why when Detroit Lions running backs Davif Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs appear in Faygo's new commercial, they cemented themselves into Detroit culture and Detroit lore forever.

These guys are home, and they're part of the city beyond just playing for the hometown team. They're part of what makes Detroit cool again, and that's why this puts them in a category with guys like Ben Wallace, Isiah Thomas, Barry Sanders, Calvin Johnson, and others.

This is right up there with the infamous Dunham's commercial, the Pistons did in 1987, if you ask me.
