No need to start calling for the third Super Bowl banner to be hung from Lincoln Financial Field, but it was all good news for the Philadelphia Eagles during Tuesday's training camp practice for their star quarterback Jalen Hurts.

94 WIP Eagles reporter Eliot Shorr-Parks was right on it again with the practice stats that showed what kind of day Hurts had. Hurts finished with a perfect eight completions out of eight attempts, with Shorr-Parks giving him a grade of A.

"Tuesday was a short but good day for Jalen Hurts and the first team offense

Hurts completed all his throws but his best stretch was a four-play period where he went 4/4 with two very nice throws. The first was a throw across his body to Dallas Goedert with pressure in his face. The other was Devonta Smith over the middle, a play the duo connected on four times during practice

Hurts also had a nice throw on the first team series of the day, hitting Dotson on a nice timing/anticipation throw along the sideline

Outside of that the team mostly ran the ball during a short, hour-long practice that was intentionally light with two hard days of work coming up against the Cleveland Browns"

It was a good day needed for the veteran quarterback

Eagles training camp has had its mixed bag of performances throughout the practices. The most concerning aspect for the offense has been its inconsistency. Hurts has played a role in those inconsistencies.

That's why it was important for Hurts to have a good day of practice as they prepare for Saturday's preseason showdown with the Cleveland Browns. Hurts and the starters should be finding themselves on the field for the game with the most playing time they will have all preseason.

13 days of training camp, and it appears the Eagles are firing on all cylinders with the team. The offense is finding how deep they truly are at wide receivers. One concern, other than the offensive consistency, is who will be the CB2 on defense alongside Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean.

More of those questions will be answered against Cleveland as Hurts hopes to carry that momentum from practice into the game as the one and only big challenge before the regular season debut against the Dallas Cowboys.
