Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has not worn his Super Bowl ring, and he has no plans to start anytime soon.
Hurts was asked Wednesday if he plans to eventually start wearing the ring to celebrate the team’s Super Bowl LIX triumph. The quarterback was dismissive of the idea, simply saying he has already moved on from the win.
“I’ve moved on to the new year. It’s as simple as that,” Hurts said.

The Eagles went all-out with their rings, so Hurts would be justified in showing his off a bit, even briefly before the new season. However, he is not going to do that. He wants to remain focused on the upcoming season and would prefer to win another championship rather than keep commemorating the last one.
Hurts did devote some time to celebrating in the immediate aftermath of the Eagles’ victory, so it is not as if he didn’t have time to enjoy it.
Hurts is coming off a somewhat down season statistically, as he threw for 2,903 yards and 18 touchdowns, and rushed for 14 more.
