A list of unprecedented rookie accomplishments is following Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels into the Super Bowl.
Daniels set a rookie quarterback record with 891 rushing yards. His 69.0% completion percentage was also the highest ever for a rookie.
The 24-year-old made NFL history and set another rookie record in the process with his fifth touchdown pass in the playoffs, the most ever for a first-year signal-caller.
Last week, in the NFC divisional round against the Detroit Lions, Daniels passed for 299 yards and two touchdowns. The week before, against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he threw for 268 yards and two touchdowns.

On Sunday, Daniels connected with wide receiver Terry McLaurin on a 36-yard touchdown reception, giving him five touchdown passes this postseason.
The 6-foot-4, 210-pound signal-caller finished his rookie season with 3,568 passing yards, 25 touchdowns and nine interceptions. He added 891 rushing yards and six touchdowns on the ground.
The Commanders finished the 2024 season with a 12-5 record. Daniels, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, was named to the Pro Bowl as a rookie and is a finalist for the NFL's Offensive Rookie of the Year award.
He won the Heisman Trophy, Walter Camp, Johnny Unitas Golden Arm, Davey O'Brien and Manning awards in 2023 during his final collegiate season with the LSU Tigers.
