The Washington Commanders and Indianapolis Colts are playing in London in Week 4, and there’s a chance that star quarterback Jayden Daniels suits up.
Daniels suffered a dislocated elbow in Week 2 against the Dallas Cowboys, but the Commanders did not place him on IR, meaning he could return at any time.
Daniels showed up to practice on Thursday with an elbow brace, and he shuts down any concerns anybody had about him missing an extended period of time.
“That’s what the brace is for,” Daniels said, via John Kelm of ESPN. “If I had that concern, I would have gotten surgery.”
Daniels kept it short when asked about the elbow brace and said he is “taking it day-by-day.”

ESPN insider Adam Schefter revealed earlier in the week that it is likely that Daniels will undergo surgery in the offseason, which left the door open for his return as soon as Week 4.
Washington listed Daniels as “limited” on Wednesday and Thursday’s injury report, and a video of him at practice sure made fans wonder if he could play in London.

The Colts and Commanders face off on Sunday at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, although the NFL slashed ticket prices due to decreased demand.
