Jets 'Best-Case' Scenario Revealed For Coach Aaron Glenn

The New York Jets, under new head coach Aaron Glenn and general manager Darren Mougey, have gone through the franchise with a broom to try and clean up all the mess left by last year's team.

With a fresh, new outlook and coaching staff, the Jets are looking to 2025 as a building block for what Glenn eventually wants his team to be.

Granted, many think it will take time for Glenn to get the franchise doing the things he wants both on and off the field ... but what if it all works out from the jump?

In what CBS Sports calls a best-case scenario, everything that Glenn has done bears fruit in the best possible way.

"New coach Aaron Glenn brings some stability to an organization long beset by drama, and Justin Fields' physical gifts enable New York to make unexpectedly quick strides, a la Darnold with the Vikings in 2024," CBS Sports writes.

That would be ideal from a Jets perspective, given the uncertainty surrounding the coaching staff and Justin Fields' leadership of the team.

Some think that 2025 will be tough sledding for the Jets, given the amount of change the franchise has undergone this offseason, but as we saw with the Washington Commanders last season under Dan Quinn, sometimes it doesn't take much to turn a franchise around.

Granted, New York doesn't have Jayden Daniels, but Fields has shown glimpses of what he can be; he just has to put it all together consistently. If he does, the Jets have a fighting chance at doing something far better than they did a year ago.

Is that wishful thinking? Possibly, but the Jets, when looking at what they can do in 2025, should be thinking "why not us" when it comes to how quickly the franchise can turn itself around.

With Glenn at the helm, anything is possible.
