Tuesday started with a new update on New York Jets star running back Breece Hall, one that's direct and mostly positive.
Head coach Aaron Glenn mentioned that he expects Hall to be out of action for 2-3 weeks, but that shouldn't prevent him from being ready for the start of the regular season.
Hall's latest injury and upcoming absence stem from going down during a recent practice. He went down without being touched, causing the initial concern. But Glenn did alleviate any worries immediately following that practice.
"I don't think it was a big deal, but I want to make sure I get the evaluation on that," Glenn said when asked about Hall at the time.

However, Hall is the Jets' most important asset, both in the interest of the franchise taking a step forward in 2026 and in its plans for the future.
Hall is also coming off the most productive season of his career to this point in 2025. He exceeded 1,000 rushing yards for the first time, running for 1,065 on 243 carries.
Hall posted an average of a respectable 4.4 yards per touch and scored four touchdowns. He even caught 36 passes for 350 yards and scored one more time as a receiver, granted he exceeded those totals in the year prior.
The Jets' second-round pick in 2022 out of Iowa State, Hall has racked up 3,398 yards with 18 touchdowns on the ground and made 188 receptions for 1,642 yards as a pass-catcher in 56 games across four NFL seasons to this point.
