The New York Jets vs. Tennessee Titans game may feature two teams that struggled last season, but there was a lot of hype going into their Week 1 matchup. Both teams are littered with young prospects. In fact, there are five rookie first-rounders in this matchup alone.
The Titans drafted Carnell Tate and Keldric Faulk with the fourth and 31st overall picks, respectively. New York took David Bailey, Kenyon Sadiq, and Omar Cooper Jr. within the first 32 picks. Fans have high hopes for what the youngsters can do, and Jets diehards were vindicated during an impressive opening drive.
Sadiq made waves during the scouting combine for his record-setting performance. His athletic prowess was displayed during the Jets’ opening drive when the tight end scored on an end around rushing play.

Cooper had a huge gain of his own, as he caught a ball and took off for a 30-yard gain. However, the rookie receiver from Indiana did hurt his ankle and is questionable to return.
The Jets have lacked playmakers for years, and they now have an offense full of them. The team’s first offensive drive proved as much. The team also has star weapons like Breece Hall and Garrett Wilson. Plus, Bailey is expected to wreak havoc on the defensive end as one of the best pass rushers in the league for years to come.
