Former Cleveland Browns’ legend couldn’t help but contain his excitement as Cleveland gets ready to welcome a new stadium. The new Huntington Bank Field is getting ready, and is scheduled to open its doors in 2029.

Six-time All-Pro OT Joe Thomas shared the occasion by reposting Browns’ post on his official X account on May 2.

“After seeing the videos and blueprints…this might be the coolest stadium in the NFL when the new @HuntingtonBkFld opens in 2029,” Thomas wrote.

Cleveland was understandably hyped for the stadium on Friday. Like every other Browns fanatic, Thomas was also ecstatic about this new development.

Thely also held fan experience and economic impact panels to mark the event’s inauguration. It also included Thomas moderating a conversation between GM Andrew Berry, new HC Todd Monken, and defensive stars Carson Schwesinger and Denzel Ward.

The stadium also comes with its own perks. It is projected to feature the closest seats in the NFL with a transparent roof to generate plenty of natural light. Moreover, it is also going to boast of a flexible seating capacity accommodating 75,000 people.

All in all, everything looks promising for the organization. However, there have also been controversies regarding this new Cleveland Browns’ stadium.

Litigation Concerns For Browns’ New Stadium

While Joe Thomas is elated about this new development, others aren’t exactly convinced. Some factors are largely responsible for this hesitation.
