Jordan Love only has 2 words to say about Micah Parsons’ straightfoward message

It’s a great time to be a Green Bay Packers fan. Less than two weeks removed from the stunning trade that suddenly landed Green Bay superstar pass rusher Micah Parsons, the Packers scored their first win in the 2025 NFL regular season by taking down the Detroit Lions at Lambeau Field on Sunday via a score of 27-13.

The offense looked good, as did the defense for the Packers, whose win against the two-time defending NFC North champions sent a strong message not just across the rest of the division but across the entire league.

Green Bay quarterback Jordan Love outplayed Lions counterpart Jared Goff, passing for 188 yards and two touchdowns with zero interceptions on 16-of-22 pass completions. The offensive line gave Love stout protection, as he was never sacked once in the contest.

Speaking of which, Parsons got his first sack as a Packer, downing Goff late in the fourth quarter as the crowd at Lambeau Field erupted in cheers.

Jordan Love shows support for Parsons after win against Detroit

Love had long wanted Parsons to become a teammate with the Packers, and like everyone else in Green Bay nation, he must be ecstatic that the four-time Pro Bowl pass rusher is now in Titletown.

When Parsons shared his first Instagram post since the Lions game, Love was right there in the comments section to show his support for his new teammate.

“That man!” the former Utah State Agggies star wrote as a comment on Parsons’ post that showed different photos from his Green Bay debut.

Parsons should get even better as he continues to familiarize himself with his new surroundings, and he can add more to his lone sack thus far with Green Bay when the Packers face the Washington Commanders in Week 2.
