Just one week before the NFL Draft, it's been revealed that Ohio State product Justin Fields has been managing epilepsy.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Fields confirmed his condition with NFL teams throughout the draft process. The condition has not affected him on the field, and he's expected to outgrow it, as his family members have in their 20s.
Rapoport adds that it's possible Fields may have already outgrown the illness.

Fields is regarded as one of the top quarterbacks in the 2021 draft after leading the Buckeyes to the national title game last season. The 22-year-old completed 70.2% of his passes for 2,100 yards and 22 touchdowns against six interceptions. He also ran for 383 yards and five scores.
He could go as high as third overall to the San Francisco 49ers, who will likely also consider Alabama's Mac Jones and North Dakota State's Trey Lance.
Fields won't be the first player managing epilepsy who went on to have a successful NFL career. Alan Faneca, Tiki Barber, Samari Rolle and Jason Snelling all managed the condition.
