The Kansas City Chiefs have given star defensive tackle Chris Jones a five-year contract extension with up to $95 million guaranteed. 

The two sides took negotiations close to the wire of the start of free agency but were ultimately able to come into agreement. It appears that Jones will have the opportunity to finish his career in Kansas City, much to the delight of his teammates. Here are the top reactions to the news from Chiefs players.

Regardless of what the future holds, Jones has definitely earned this contract. He will now stride toward becoming the best defensive player in Chiefs history and helping K.C. achieve the first Super Bowl three-peat in NFL history.
