Keisean Henderson Compared to NFL QB Jordan Love by 247Sports

Houston’s prized Class of 2026 quarterback Keisean Henderson just received high praise from 247Sports’ Grant Hughes: he’s being compared to Green Bay Packers standout Jordan Love.

It’s a bold projection that offers insight into Henderson’s tools, potential trajectory, and why college coaches are all over him.

Henderson, a 6‑3, 185‑lb signal-caller at Legacy (Spring, Texas), has consistently impressed through his junior season, culminating with a stellar MVP performance at the 2025 Navy All-American Bowl (3-of-5, 146 yards, 1 TD).

His strong junior numbers, 2,689 yards and 25 touchdowns on 65.7% completion, cement his status as a true five-star talent.

Hughes sees Henderson’s combination of arm talent, athleticism, and work-in-progress consistency as remarkably Love-like: a potentially high-ceiling NFL starter who may take time to evolve but could ultimately redefine a franchise.

Like Love, Henderson boasts a quick, accurate arm, the ability to make off-platform throws, and the ability to create outside the pocket, all traits that stand out on the tape.

This reflects a broader trend in NFL-style quarterback development. Big-play ability paired with a processing engine that grows over time is a hallmark of high-upside passer profiles in today’s game, and Henderson checks those boxes. His developmental arc mirrors Love’s: raw in high school, but with tantalizing traits that scouting analysts love.

For Houston and any Power 5 program, securing a Love-caliber QB is a dream. Henderson’s skill set fits both Air Raid and pro-style passing systems, and his film suggests a quarterback who can be coached into premium accuracy and decision-making.

With Keisean Henderson emerging as one of the top quarterback prospects in the 2026 class, the future in Houston looks brighter than ever.

His combination of elite arm talent and athletic ceiling makes him the type of cornerstone talent programs build around. If Henderson continues to develop, he won’t just elevate his stock; he could be the catalyst that puts Houston back in the national spotlight.
