This offseason has been quite the interesting one for Las Vegas Raiders left tackle Kolton Miller.
On the final year of his contract in 2025, Miller sat out voluntary workouts earlier in the offseason in the hopes of getting a new contract. This sparked a short-lived series of trade rumors, with teams thinking one of the more consistent offensive linemen was potentially on the market. However, Miller returned to voluntary workouts to squash said rumors, and is also in the building for minicamp this week.
When given the chance to talk after Tuesday’s session, Miller said everything Raiders fans wanted to hear.
“I want to be a Raider for life,” Miller said during his media availability. “I love it here. I don’t want to go anywhere else. I only know one way to do it, and that’s showing up getting better each day.”
A first-round pick under former head coach Jon Gruden in 2018, Miller has been with the Raiders for the duration of his career.
He has been with the Raiders through all of the highs and lows, remaining one of the better blindside protectors in the league. Despite massive turnover almost everywhere else within the organization, Miller has been counted on as one of the constants. With Pete Carroll and John Spytek now leading the charge, Miller will continue to be relied upon to guide a young offensive line.
“I’ve been here for a long time, man. This is what I do, and looking to just improve each day,” Miller said. “And the direction the organization is going with Pete [Carroll], he’s preaching competition. We’ve got to make everyone better, including the young guys. So I’m not going to — I’m going to continue doing what I’m doing and lead the guys. And that’s how I’m rolling.”
Raiders fans are loving that Miller remains committed to their team, and the two sides should hopefully come to an agreement soon to ensure he remains in Las Vegas.
