There were some defining moments in the Philadelphia Eagles' 33-26 improbable win over the Los Angeles Rams, but one almost sunk the Eagles.

After the first offensive drive of the game, Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson was taken out of the game after suffering a neck injury. He did not return to the game and was replaced by Matt Pryor.

That was a bad moment for the Eagles as Pryor surrendered multiple sacks and struggled to block the Rams' pass rush. In the third quarter, Pryor was pulled after allowing a sack that led to a Jalen Hurts lost fumble. Fred Johnson took over and performed well as he helped Philly come from behind 26-7 to win the game.

Everyone's thoughts after the game were what was going on with Lane Johnson and whether the Eagles would get him back. He was able to deliver some good news.

Johnson's post game comments should give Eagles fans comfort

The Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane spoke with Johnson after the game to see how he was feeling. Johnson shared that he suffered a stinger and should be able to play next week.

This is excellent news, as it was apparent how important Johnson is to this offensive line. They struggled for about half of the play without him holding up the right side of the line. Thankfully, Fred Johnson played well enough in the second half to help out.

Lane Johnson has been known for being banged up here and there, and at the age of 35, has taken a beating. The thing about him, though, is that he always finds his way back on the field and makes a significant impact.

Philly will need him as the team continues their tough schedule after starting the year 3-0. The Eagles have a date with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 4.
