The Detroit Lions are set to face Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in one of the most highly anticipated games of the season.
The teams known for their high-powered offenses are meeting for a prime-time game at very different points in their seasons. The Lions are riding a four-game win streak while the Chiefs are coming off a loss and sit at 2-3.
Kansas City is looking to earn a victory over a Super Bowl contender while finding a way to stay afloat in its championship hunt.
Ahead of the matchup between the Detroit Lions and the Kansas City Chiefs, Detroit announced the official injury report, following Friday's practice
The Lions announced four players have been ruled out for the team's matchup against the Chiefs. That includes a defensive star in cornerback Terrion Arnold and other contributors such as linebacker Zach Cunningham, nose tackle Alim McNeill and running back Sione Vaki.

The Detroit Lions certainly have the depth and skill to defeat the Kansas City Chiefs, who have looked streaky to begin the 2025 season.
With several players out of the lineup, Detroit will rely on stars like Jared Goff and Jahmyr Gibbs to help them earn a victory on "Sunday Night Football."
The Detroit Lions began the season with a loss to the Green Bay Packers. Since that loss in Week 1, Detroit has defeated the Chicago Bears, Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals.
Sunday's game in Kansas City begins at 8:20 p.m. ET and will air on NBC and stream on Peacock.
