The Detroit Lions have transformed themselves into an NFL contender under the leadership of head coach Dan Campbell.
Detroit finished the regular season with a 15-2 record, earning the No. 1 seed in the NFC for the postseason. But in their first playoff game, a divisional round matchup against the Washington Commanders, the Lions lost, 45-31.
Following the season, Detroit had salt poured on the wound, losing both of their lead coordinators to head coach vacancies.
Offensive coordinator Ben Johnson accepted the position as head coach of the Chicago Bears while defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn was named the head coach of the New York Jets.
