If you've been paying attention in the last few years, then you know there is quite a theme going on here with Detroit Lions safety Brian Branch. He has been fined and fined a lot. 12 times in three seasons so far for a grand total of $118,391. Now he can add another $11,598 to that.
This time, Branch is being fined for a low block against the Ravens in the fourth quarter of Monday night's game. It's a very weak penalty, and even ESPN Football Rules Analyst Russell Yurk said on the broadcast that he thought it was a bad call. You can see that Branch wasn't trying to block; he fell, and a guy tripped over him. You can see it in the film.

As you can see, this one is pretty bad. A good number of things that Branch has been fined for are pretty bad, and he probably shouldn't have been fined for them. We'll see if he can avoid them going forward. Judging by 13 fines, it's probably a no. The officials are watching him.
