With the 2024 regular season officially in the books, the Los Angeles Chargers' home and away opponents for the 2024 NFL season have been finalized.
The 2025 NFL schedule won’t officially be revealed until sometime in mid-May, which means we don’t have all the details on dates and times for these matchups. However, now that all the division winners have been determined, the Chargers’ opponents for the upcoming season are officially set in stone.
Take a look at those opponents and our thoughts down below:
The Chargers will play the NFC East and the AFC South in 2025. They will also face the Steelers and Dolphins, who, like Los Angeles, finished second in their respective divisions. The Chargers' 17th game will be at home against the second-place NFC North Vikings.
Obviously it's early, but that looks like a pretty daunting schedule for the Chargers. Starting in their own division, the AFC West is one of the toughest in the league. On top of that, matchups against the Eagles, Commanders, Texans, Steelers, and Vikings won't likely be easy.
However, the NFL's landscape can certainly change drastically during an offseason, so we'll get a better idea of how challenging the schedule will be following free agency and the NFL Draft.
