Los Angeles Rams vs. Cleveland Browns Live In-Game Updates, Highlights
Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

The Los Angeles Rams (5-6) will host the Cleveland Browns (7-4) on Sunday as they hope to keep their playoff hopes alive. With the division-rival Seattle Seahawks falling to 6-6 on Thursday Night Football, Week 13 offers Los Angeles the opportunity to make good on its tiebreaker with a Week 13 win.

Of course, that’s easier said and done—especially against the league’s best defense . Quarterback Matthew Stafford and running back Kyren Williams both looked great last week, with the latter hitting 200 scrimmage yards, but this vaunted Cleveland defense is miles ahead of what the Arizona Cardinals provided.

Browns edge rusher Myles Garrett is a little banged up but remains the best defensive player in football. He can take over and win games seemingly by himself, as Cleveland fans witnessed in Week 7.

However, the Browns are no stranger to adversity. Much like Los Angeles’ rash of injuries, Cleveland will be without starting quarterback Deshaun Watson and backup Dorian Thompson-Robinson. They will start veteran Joe Flacco over P.J. Walker.

Unless Los Angeles head coach Sean McVay can neutralize the Browns’ elite pass rush with his strong run game and Stafford can avoid pressure when necessary, this one could get ugly. The Rams’ hot defense won’t help the over hit, either. They’ve been awesome in consecutive divisional games, and Cleveland may have the worst offense they’ve faced in the past few weeks.

If Los Angeles can’t lean on veteran receiver Cooper Kupp (ankle), expect rookie phenom Puka Nacua to see the kind of target share he saw early in the season.

This one should remain close throughout. Follow along for live updates!
