Micah Parsons Apologizes to Cowboys Fan After Packers Trade

Micah Parsons is over the moon with his recent move to the Green Bay Packers. After spending the first four seasons of his NFL career with the Dallas Cowboys, the two-time All-Pro edge rusher decided it was time for a change in scenery, and Parsons made sure that he was going to get his wish.

After failing to find common ground with the Cowboys on his new contract, Parsons requested a trade on Aug. 1. After a lot of back-and-forth that lasted for nearly a month, Dallas finally budged and pulled the trigger on one of the biggest blockbuster trades in recent history.

The Packers sent three-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Kenny Clark and two first-round picks (2026 and 2027) to the Cowboys in exchange for Parsons, who became the highest paid non-quarterback in NFL history after agreeing a massive $188 million, four-year extension with Green Bay.

Young Cowboys Fan Cries Over Parsons Trade

While Parsons may have been overjoyed by his record-breaking move to the Packers, the same cannot be said for Cowboys fans. One young supporter, in particular, was sent to tears after learning about the former AP and PFWA Defensive Rookie of the Year’s departure.

A TikTok video from a user named lesleygonz has recently gone viral. In the one-minute clip, a young boy learns about the Parsons trade for the first time. The kid broke down in tears after realizing that Parsons is no longer a Cowboy.

Parsons Apologizes to Young Fan

Given how the video completely blew up online — it has 1.6 million views as of writing — it wasn’t long before Parsons caught wind of the same. The new Packers star could not help but react to the heartbreaking clip.

“I’m sorry! ” wrote the 26-year-old in the comments section.

The kids’ mom has also responded to Parsons’ comment. She had no words, though, opting to reply with a single broken heart emoji, which makes this entire situation even more saddening.

Parsons had a memorable four-year run with the Cowboys. During that time, he established himself as one of the top superstars in the game, while also leaving a permanent mark on the hearts and minds of the Dallas faithful.

As they always say, however, all good things must come to an end. Nevertheless, this inevitable reality does little to alleviate the pain of the heartbroken Cowboys fans.
