This past weekend was a rough one for injuries in the NFL — with a couple of season-ending ones to two of the game's biggest stars.
Week 15 not only saw Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes go down with an ACL tear, but also Green Bay defensive end Micah Parsons, who suffered a non-contact injury to his knee while attempting to chase down Denver's Bo Nix.
Parsons' torn ACL is the first major injury of his career thus far. But that isn't stopping the four-time Pro Bowler from vowing to come back stronger than ever when he gets the chance.
Taking to his social media accounts a day after the injury, Parsons had a message for fans about his "greatest test" and how he will "rise again."
"I may be sidelined, but I am not defeated," Micah said. "This injury is my greatest test—a moment God allowed to strengthen my testimony. I believe He walks with me through this storm and chose me for this fight because He knew my heart could carry it."
"I’m deeply grateful to the Packers organization and my teammates for their unwavering support, love, and belief in me during this season," the All-Pro pass rusher continued. "I trust His timing, His plan, and His purpose. I will rise again."

"Small setback before a huge comeback! You got this King " a user commented.
"When he gets back he’s gonna be lights out! Short time as a packer but already loved and respected!" another exclaimed.
"Rivalry aside hoping for a speedy recovery! The game is better with you playing!" a fan replied.
"As a Broncos fan, I hated to see you go down in that way. Mad respect for you and what you do for the game. God Bless!" another person posted.
"The team still needs your verbal leadership - let em know it ain’t over - rest up 1 , see you soon "
With how long it takes to rehab and recover from an ACL, Parsons will likely miss some of next season as well; with most estimates projecting him to be out at least four games in 2026. Let's hope Micah is able to return to his Pro Bowl form — whenever that is.
