Micah Parsons is officially a Green Bay Packer. His arrival turns the winningest franchise in football history into a legitimate Super Bowl contender, revamping an already strong defense with his pass-rush expertise.
However, while playing for the Packers comes with plenty of cachet, moving from Arlington to Green Bay, Wisconsin, is a major adjustment. That's why the Penn State star is going to take a business-like approach in this next step of his career.
In a sit-down with Packers beat writer Zach Kruse, Parsons all but confirmed that he will halt his podcast, at least for the time being. Right now, it's all about football:
"Just focus on ball. I'm going to take a break from everything, I'm so ready to focus on this thing, what it's all about," Parsons told Kruse. "Here, it's all about ball. They pour everything into this. This is probably what I needed in my life."

While Parsons is a match made in heaven for the Packers from a football perspective, his larger-than-life character and personality might be a little too big for such a small town. Nevertheless, he shut down those concerns by confirming that he and his entourage couldn't be happier with the move:
“I told my family, they said, ‘Are you happy?’ I said I couldn’t be happier. I feel it. You ever have that feeling like, ‘I think I made the right decision’ That’s exactly how I feel,” Parsons admitted.
Micah Parsons is a competitor first and foremost, and as such, football will always be atop his priority list. He will be happy there for as long as the team keeps winning, and he certainly gives their chances a big boost.
His exit from the Cowboys was rocky and will be a talking point for years to come. But now that the contract situation is resolved, he can focus on what he does best: Wreaking havoc and getting to the quarterback.
