Minnesota Vikings are the only team in the NFL to accomplish this one feat in 2024

The 2024 Minnesota Vikings are quite an enigma this season. After a dominant win over the New York Giants, the Vikings doubled down and won in a rather convincing fashion over the San Francisco 49ers. It moved the Vikings to 2-0 on the season.

There have been numerous milestones the Vikings have reached this year. Most of those have been by wide receiver Justin Jefferson, but the team has reached a really cool milestone this year.

Minnesota Vikings are NFL's only remaining undefeated team

Even though we are just two weeks into the NFL season, the Vikings are indeed the only team without a loss in the 2024 season. Yes, there are teams who are 2-0 in the regular season, but the Vikings are the only team to be undefeated in the preseason and regular season.

Six teams finished undefeated in the regular season and the other five teams have a loss in the regular season.

New York Jets: 1-1
Jacksonville Jaguars: 0-2
Tennessee Titans: 0-2
Denver Broncos: 0-2
Chicago Bears: 1-1

The Houston Texans, who the Vikings play in week three, came close with a 3-1 record in the preseason and their only loss was a weather shortened Hall of Fame game against the Bears.

Do preseason records matter? Absolutely not. The 0-16 Detroit Lions in 2008 went 4-0 in the preseason. However, when you are trying to build a culture of winning, it's a great thing to win those games.
