Minnesota Vikings select intriguing prospect at position of need in latest 2025 NFL Mock Draft

The defensive line is arguably the biggest position of need for the Minnesota Vikings this offseason. Harrison Phillips is a really nice player but there isn't enough surrounding him to make a major enough impact.

One of the biggest impacts the Vikings could use is at defensive tackle in both rush defense and pressuring the quarterback. Luckily for general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, it's a very deep class where you can find some talented players, including at the end of the first round.

How the Minnesota Vikings approach the NFL Draft come April will be an interesting one and our own A.J. Schulte at A to Z Sports has a really intriguing prospect in mind for the Vikings in Michigan DT Kenneth Grant.

The Vikings need a true three-down player in the interior of their defense. Kenneth Grant is a terrific blend of size, power, and athleticism and has been a key cog in Michigan's dominant defense.

Grant is a really interesting player. He is 6-3", 339 lbs and is a mammoth of a man on the inside. What makes him so intriguing is the athleticism he possesses that could lead to a real pass-rush presence down the line. Right away, he should be impactful in the run game.

Grant is similar to Mazi Smith in both size and athletic profile, which is a very intriguing piece to add to the Vikings' defense. It would ease the stress on the second level of the defense and help ease the need for blitzing on defense.
