New Orleans Saints 7 Round 2026 Mock Draft!
Jake Crandall/ Advertiser / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images

Team #2 on my list is the New Orleans Saints, and I think we have to start by saying I anticipate the team giving Tyler Shough a real chance to be their franchise quarterback BEYOND this season. He’ll get the rest of the year as a chance to get up to speed, and the team will build around him and then see if he’s the real deal next season. So with that choice being made, here’s the way I saw them using their picks in the 2026 NFL Draft (NOTE: There’s no trading in my mock draft, and I use NFLMockDraftDatabase.com to handle all my mock drafts).

New Orleans Saints 7 Round 2026 Mock Draft Results!

Pick #2 – Keldric Faulk, EDGE, Auburn

They spent the last two years securing their bookend tackles in the first round, which makes sense given the age of the veterans currently on the team (if they are still around this next season).

Pick #35 – Denzel Boston, WR, Washington

Chris Olave is elite, and can play in the slot or on the outside, but you have to go get someone to complement him, and a massive big-play threat like Boston seems like a no-brainer in my opinion.

Pick#66 – Jake Slaughter, IOL (C), Florida

With the tackles in place, I think they still need one more starter on the inside, and I believe at center would be the target. Slaughters a plus pass blocker coming out of college, with room to grow as a run blocker. Put him next to all these vets and let him develop as your cornerstone at center.

Pick #129 – Nick Singleton, RB, Penn State

Alvin Kamara‘s not getting any younger, and Kendre Miller‘s not staying healthy. Devin Neal is definitely part of the future at running back, but is more of a 2nd option, not a true RB1. Both Penn State backs were on the board, but Singleton is the bigger play threat and has the size to be your bell cow back if you wanted to go that route.

Pick #137 – Derrick Moore, EDGE, Michigan

I see Moore as more of a stand-up rusher at the next level, and this team could use at least one pass rush specialist on the outside as a linebacker. He’s played plenty of high-level competition and looks like he could be a nice addition to add to the rotation at this spot.

Pick #142 – Jack Endries, TE, Texas

Juwan Johnson is your #1, but nowadays you need AT LEAST 2 or even 3 tight ends that you can play any given Sunday. Endries is more of a pass-catching specialist, at least at this point in his career, but you can have him as your #2 or #3, depending on what you do in free agency, and let him develop as a pass-blocker while you use him some in the pass game as a rookie. This team needs to get their young quarterback plenty of pass-catchers to help him out!

Pick #169 – Nyck Harbor, WR, South Carolina

See what I said about Endries, the question you have to ask about Harbor is, will a team try to get him to add some pounds to be a tight end, or leave him as a wideout that’s more of a one-trick pony at this point? Either way, he’s got a massive catch radius for as tall as he is; someone’s going to take a shot on him, and at this late in the draft, a team like New Orleans, why not?

Pick #181 – Daylen Everette, CB, Georgia

They have their starters in place, but the depth is an issue. So I looked for my best available corner at this point, and Everette is a great choice, has good size, and a ton of straight-line speed. He’s played plenty of high-level competition while at Georgia, and could be a nice depth piece that could turn into a starter in time.
