Deommodore Lenoir received a contract extension from the San Francisco 49ers prior to their Week 11 game with the Seattle Seahawks.
And the newly minted cornerback received a further boost to his wallet on Saturday as he got good news from the NFL.
Lenoir avoided a fine for a personal foul call, which saw him flagged for unnecessary roughness late in the second quarter.
The foul occurred in a chippy end to the second quarter, with both Lenoir and Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III flagged following an altercation after a third-down play.
With the fouls offsetting, the 49ers did not pay a price for the incident, and neither Lenoir nor Walker received a fine from the league.
Even if the league had fined Lenoir, it would have been unlikely to curb his aggressive style of play, which is key to his continued excellent play for the 49er secondary.
Lenoir will be crucial for the 49er defense on Sunday, when it will be tasked with keeping Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers in check in a game in which the odds are stacked against the Niners with both Brock Purdy and Nick Bosa ruled out.
