NFL Coach's House Vandalized After Week 13 Loss

The NFL has some of the most passionate fans in all of sports. That being said, some of them cross the line with their behavior.

Just a few days ago, the Philadelphia Eagles suffered a 24-15 loss at home to the Chicago Bears. The fans at Lincoln Financial Field let their frustration be known throughout the game, booing the offense after every punt. So far this season, the defending champions are averaging 22.5 points per game and rank in the bottom half of the league in rushing yards.

Most of the blame has been placed on Eagles offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo. In fact, the majority of the fan base wants him fired. Head coach Nick Sirianni, however, made it clear he won't make a mid-season change to his staff.

“You know, we’ll evaluate, obviously, everything. But like I said to you guys, when you win, when you lose, it’s never about one person. We all collectively have to do a better job. And that’s going to be starting with us as coaches, starting with me as a coach, finding solutions to getting the offense going,” Sirianni said, via A to Z Sports.

“So I’ll put that on us with the staff, and put that on me most individually to help get this thing going in the right direction. But, yeah, no, sticking with that. It’s the greatest team sport there is, and it’s never about one person. We all have to look internally, and we all have to get better. Coaches and players.”

Eagles fans take it too far.

According to the Moorestown Police Department, fans vandalized Patullo's house in New Jersey this past Saturday. ESPN's Tim McManus provided a few details on this awful situation.

"A video surfaced on social media of multiple people appearing to throw objects at Patullo's home. Online posts suggested it was rocks being thrown, but a Moorestown police representative clarified that it was eggs, adding that the investigation is still ongoing," McManus wrote. "Patullo, 44, has been under scrutiny amid the Eagles' offensive woes this season."

Patullo has not yet commented on this terrible situation. We're certainly hoping his family is OK and feels safe.
