Ja'Marr Chase earned a ton of respect around the NFL following his triple-crown receiving season in 2024 and that includes an active legend, Mike Evans. The Buccaneers wide receiver noted Chase is his favorite young receiver in the league during a recent interview with FOX Sports' Greg Auman.
"He's a guy where if you said he (Ja'Marr) was better than me — I don't think anybody's better than me — but if you said him, I would understand. So Ja'Marr, Justin Jefferson, Nico Collins, Drake (London),"Evans told Auman.
Sound praise from a player Chase can surely emulate when it comes to career longevity. Evans just hit 100 career touchdowns last season and could break Jerry Rice's record of 11 straight seasons with at least 1,000 receiving yards if he rolls out his usual consistency this fall.
Amidst a bunch of changing quarterback situations, Evans has been a model of stability. Chase may get that rare chance to stay with one superstar quarterback for his entire prime.
