NFL Legend Terry Bradshaw Makes Personal Announcement on Wednesday

Terry Bradshaw remains one of the most recognizable figures in NFL history, both for what he accomplished on the field and for the career he built after football. The Pittsburgh Steelers selected him No. 1 overall in the 1970 NFL Draft, and he spent 14 seasons with the franchise.

He led Pittsburgh to four Super Bowl championships and earned Super Bowl MVP honors in Super Bowls XIII and XIV. Bradshaw finished his career with 27,989 passing yards and 212 touchdowns before being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1989.

Bradshaw has since established himself beyond the gridiron after retiring in 1984. He began working with CBS that same year before joining Fox in 1994 as part of the original “Fox NFL Sunday” crew. More than three decades later, he remains a co-host and analyst on the program, helping him stay in the national spotlight long after his playing career ended.

Bradshaw is now preparing to tell his story in greater detail with his upcoming memoir, “Looking for Terry: A Memoir.” He first announced the book in June, revealing that it will be his first memoir in more than two decades.

On Wednesday, Bradshaw made the release a little more personal by announcing that autographed copies of the memoir will also be available. The signed edition is being offered through Books-A-Million, giving fans an opportunity to own a copy signed by the Hall of Famer himself.

Looking for Terry promises a candid look at the man behind Bradshaw’s larger-than-life television personality, including his experiences with fame, vulnerability, depression, cancer and faith. The 272-page hardcover is scheduled for release Oct. 13, 2026, through Harper Select.

For someone who has spent more than 50 years in the public eye, Bradshaw’s latest project offers fans a chance to hear his story in his own words.
